About Us

My journey in the food and hospitality industry began as a line cook, where I honed my culinary skills and gained hands-on experience in a professional kitchen environment. From there, I worked my way up to become a pantry chef, mastering the art of preparing salads, appetizers, and cold dishes.

As I continued to advance in my career, I took on roles as a sous chef and kitchen manager, where I developed leadership skills, managed kitchen operations, and collaborated with teams to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen.

Eventually, I pursued my passion for culinary arts and entrepreneurship by becoming an executive chef and owner of my catering business, Amalia’s Island Kitchen. Through this experience, I have been able to showcase my creativity, culinary expertise, and dedication to providing exceptional food and service to my clients.

Currently, I am furthering my knowledge and skills in the food and hospitality industry by working towards a culinary management degree. This academic pursuit allows me to deepen my understanding of culinary techniques, food trends, business management, and industry best practices, enabling me to continue growing and excelling in my career.
